Newsom’s ‘28th Amendment’ on Guns Is an Anti-Constitutional Power Play

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has been so successful at destroying his own state he now wants to destroy the rest of the country too. He is pushing for an anti-Bill of Rights “28th Amendment” to the U.S. Constitution to undermine Americans’ gun rights.

Newsom doesn’t give a hoot about saving lives or protecting Americans (which is why he and fellow California Democrats have policies that fuel a crime crisis); he wants a population that can’t protect itself from government or anyone else. J Gibson said that all of Newsom’s proposals for the “28th Amendment” infringe on the 2nd Amendment, and I think the Founding Fathers would agree. Anyone who wants to restrict lawful gun ownership is suspect.

As I have previously explained, the rights of the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights depend on the Second Amendment. We can only be a free people so long as we are armed.
