The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached media being sought in connection with an assault that occurred within the confines of the 14 Precinct/Transit District 2. Details are as follows: It was reported to police that on Tuesday, Febuary 13, 2024, at approximately 1747 hours, a 29-year-old male victim was playing music in the mezzanine inside of the 34th Street/ Herald Square station, when a unidentified female struck him in the head with a metal bottle causing laceration. The individual then fled the station and was last seen heading towards Broadway between West 34th Street and West 35th Street. The individual is described as a female with a light complexion, approximately 5'3" tall and a slim build. She was last seen wearing a brown fur coat, black winter hat, burgundy scarf and a multicolored bag across her body. Media is attached and available at DCPI.
