Pope Defies Doctrine, Says Transgenders Can Be Godparents

Woke Pope Francis again affirmed a statement undermining unchangeable Catholic teaching, as he agreed that “transgenders” can be godparents and homosexual “parents” can have their children baptized. 

It is, of course, impossible to change one’s biological sex, so “transgenderism” is not only a lie but a perverted attack on nature as God made it. Homosexuality is explicitly condemned as a grave sin in numerous Bible passages (see for instance Romans 1:25-27, 32; Lev. 18:22). The reason the Church always hesitated to baptize the children of homosexual “parents” is because baptism imposes a serious obligation to live up to the teachings of the Church. If the “parents” are homosexual, then the child will be raised by people who are not in accord with Biblical/Church teaching, and that is a serious problem (this same argument applies to “transgender” godparents). After all, Jesus indicated that baptized individuals are held to a higher standard (Matt. 13:12).

Pope Francis needs to stop prioritizing Marxist, leftist politics over the teachings of Christ and Christ’s Church.
