Alarmism appears to be in the forecast. Is Pope Francis the global worldwide weatherman? That’s what it boils down to in his latest offering, a pronouncement essentially that the world is about to end due to not just the environment but man’s destruction of it. And, of course, by “man,” he seems to be thinking of Americans, with no mention of the Chinese — the biggest polluters in world history!
