It turns out “elbows up” means giving Trump all of Canada’s jobs.
Nearly half of Canadian manufacturers are moving production to America.
Three-quarters are moving in the next 2 years.

Whatfinger’s Take On The News: Canada Crushed and Crashing — Nearly Half of Canadian Manufacturers Moving Production to America, Three-Quarters Within Two Years
The crew reviewed the latest numbers on Canadian manufacturers packing up and heading south. Trade uncertainty, costs, and policy fallout are driving a mass shift of production to the U.S. The room was buzzing with the implications.
Luke opened with the data. “KPMG survey of Canadian manufacturers shows 42 percent have already shifted some or all production to the U.S. or are planning to — 29 percent already moved, another 13 percent planning, and 77 percent of those planners expect to act within two years. Full context from the community post and related reporting: Canada’s manufacturing base is bleeding south. We’ve covered the trade tensions, Canadian policy burdens, and the America First advantage for years.”
Alex jumped in with a grin. “Canada’s manufacturing sector is doing the ultimate vote of confidence: packing the trucks and driving to America. Nearly half already moving or planning it, three-quarters of the rest in the next two years. Liberal policies, high costs, energy chaos, and trade friction turned ‘Buy Canadian’ into ‘Bye Canadian.’ The maple leaf is getting replaced with ‘Made in USA’ stickers. Wild how incentives actually work. Canada can only decline and crash from here. Trump’s idea to make them the 51st state seems more and more sound every day. Although since they are mostly Leftist, perhaps making them a territory instead.”
Sgt. Pat kept it blunt. “This is the market delivering a verdict. When costs, taxes, energy prices, and regulatory uncertainty pile up north of the border while America offers clearer rules and better economics, capital and jobs move. Sovereignty includes economic strength — Canada’s choices hollowed out its industrial base. America’s gain is a reminder that strength attracts, weakness repels. And Alex, as far as them becoming a state, not interested. Territory, OK, but we don’t need 2 more Leftist Senators infesting DC.”
Lisa focused on the human side. “Canadian workers and families are paying the price — factories closing or scaling back, investment freezing, young people looking south for opportunity. Meanwhile American communities get the jobs and production. It’s the predictable result of years of policies that punished energy, manufacturing, and business while preaching ‘equity.’ Parents see their kids’ future options shrink. I know two couples who moved here just in the last three months. The productive people are leaving, and Canada still is taking in millions of people that hate them, rape them, and destroy their culture, and Canada pays them to do it – just like the EU. The Woke are destroying the country.”
Beth added a reflective note. “There’s a quiet sadness in watching a once-proud industrial nation lose ground. The flight of production isn’t just numbers — it’s communities, skills, and self-reliance eroding. When governments prioritize ideology over competitiveness, people and capital vote with their feet. The human cost lands on ordinary Canadians who just wanted stable jobs.”
Alex kept the edge. “Canada: high taxes, expensive energy, endless regulations, and trade drama. America: lower costs in many states, energy abundance, and a clearer path. Shocking that manufacturers prefer the second option. The survey is basically Canada’s industrial sector writing a resignation letter in real time.”
Ben closed with perspective. “As history and economics teach, capital flows to where it is treated best. Nations that burden production with uncertainty and cost lose the very base that sustains prosperity. The Founders understood competitive advantage; modern policymakers who ignore it learn the hard way. America’s strength is attracting what Canada’s policies are driving away — a clear lesson in stewardship versus self-sabotage.”
Luke wrapped. “We’ve reported the trade fights, Canadian energy and regulatory burdens, and the broader North American shifts. These numbers confirm the direction.”
The team sat with the data. Michael Anthony nodded. “Crew Take?”
Sgt. Pat: “Strength attracts. Weakness loses industry. Canada is self destructing, and they have no options but to fold and be engulfed by the U.S. in whatever form that happens.”
Alex: “Or keep the policies that make ‘moving to America’ the smartest business plan and we get all of the productive folks here.”
Ben: “Competitiveness preserves nations. Neglect dissolves them. The woke are destroying them, and all Western nations with the exact same plan.”
- Canadians are the most retarded humans alive. I’m one of them. We are fucking idiots. We voted our own destruction, They imported millions of criminals and now were facing economic collapse. – North Starlink9
- I just wish for once all the Canadian-rage we get from their posts towards Americans would instead be directed at their globalist demons intent on destroying their great nation. – Freedom2025
- Trump has declared war on Canada through Tarrifs and Embargo. Canadians will stand resilient and will never forget. The people of America are responsible for Trumps behavior. America knew what he was and voted him in. Shame. – DeanL
- This may be why Trump did his best to destroy the Poilevere campaign. He likely wanted the idiots in charge for this very reason. Poilevere may have revived the Canadian economy.’ Good and hard’ is what the Canadians are getting. The country may collapse. The 51st strategy? – Daniel S

The media is losing its mind because Donald Trump wants to bill Canada for their wildfire smoke. But they are completely blind to Trump’s play here. We are two weeks away from major trade negotiations. I don’t think this tariff is his real goal. It’s an opening negotiation position. It’s the exact same tactic Benjamin Franklin used in 1782 when he demanded the British hand over the entire country of Canada just to scare them into conceding on everything else. It’s a tactic older than our country. When a negotiator throws out a number that makes the other side laugh out loud, you don’t condemn him. You wait for the laughing to stop, because that’s when you get a deal that’s very, very good for you.
