Most plays run in weak mode, enough force to appear to grab or lift an item briefly, but not enough to hold it securely all the way to the chute – Payout and win ratio: The machine can be set so the strong grip activates only after a certain number of plays. Like every 10–25 attempts or based on a target profit percentage – The claw can be programmed to release a prize it has already grabbed before delivering it
