Jimmy Kimmel kicked off a new season of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Tuesday night, as rumors swirled the show will end with in 2027, after 24 years. However, an ABC spokesperson tells ET, ‘This information is inaccurate – any reports about the future of the show at this point are purely speculative.’ On a recent episode of Dax Shepard’s ‘Armchair Expert,’ Kimmel — who’s signed non-standard, one-year deals to keep his show on air as of late — confessed to being ‘scared’ retirement.
