Lindsay Clancy has added prominent Boston attorney Martin Weinberg to her defense team for a focused double-jeopardy challenge following the mistrial. Weinberg previously argued a similar post-mistrial issue for Karen Read and will handle Clancy’s forthcoming motion to dismiss on constitutional grounds and any related appeal. Lead trial lawyer Kevin Reddington says he personally asked Weinberg to take that role while Reddington continues pursuing a separate request for the judge to resolve the case without another trial.
