Following its landfall near Destin, Florida, on October 9, Hurricane Isaias destroyed a local pier at the Destin Army Recreation Area. The storm struck around 8:30 p.m. local time packing maximum sustained winds of 105 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. Footage captured by Brandon Lee Clair of Timeless Aerial Photography showcased the severe shoreline destruction, alongside dramatic scenes of heavy rain and unusual multicolored flashes that lit up the night sky during the height of the storm.
