The stars of ‘New Girl’ — Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Hannah Simone, Lamorne Morris, Max Greenfield and Damon Wayans Jr. — reunited at the 2027 Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles, where they accepted the organization’s first ever Phoenix Rising award in celebration of their show’s themes of starting over and resilience. Since 2002, Chrysalis has raised more than $21 million to help those going through tough times find meaningful employment. Max, who MC’d the evening, shared on Instagram, the red-carpet run-in was the first time the group was all together since wrapping their series finale in 2018.
