Fruitfulness 101: Cultivating an Orchard for Eternity
Are you coasting in routine religion while longing for a vibrant, deeply fruitful walk with God? In this life-transforming masterclass John Barnett unpacks Colossians 3 and John 15 to reveal that spiritual fruitfulness is not reserved for an elite few, but is God’s daily expectation for every born-again believer.
Dressing in Resurrection Power—True devotional transformation begins with a conscious daily choice to undress from your former life. Barnett urges us to strip off the decaying "grave clothes" of anger, malice, lust, and self-seeking behavior, and actively put on Christ’s seven resurrection outfits: tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, forbearance, and forgiveness.
Becoming a Clean Channel of Divine Life—You cannot manufacture spiritual fruit through fleshly willpower; you must abide in Christ as a clean conduit for His Holy Spirit. As you yield to the Father’s loving care—allowing Him to clean away unconfessed sin through chastening and clip away distracting worldly offshoots through sanctification—your daily life flourishes with seven distinct varieties of heavenly fruit, ranging from Spirit-walking graces and heartfelt praise to sacrificial giving, serving, and soul-sowing.
An Orchard Prepared for God’s Glory—This teaching shifts your devotional focus from temporary, empty earthly ambitions to a lasting eternal inheritance. Watch this masterclass today to thoroughly evaluate your spiritual orchard, yield to the Vinedresser’s shears, and transform your daily walk into a sweet-smelling sacrifice of praise that delights the Savior.
