    During a White House event announcing a new government fraud initiative, President Donald Trump blasted multiple journalists, called out reporters and issued sharp warnings. Amid overlapping questions about international affairs, including Russia’s war in Ukraine and unrest in France, Trump grew visibly frustrated, telling one reporter to “be careful” and personally insulting another by shouting, “You are a sick person!”

    Trump tells reporters to quiet down again — and the old clips show it is nothing new.

    On Tuesday in the Oval Office, President Trump got fed up with reporters talking over each other during a short event on a new government fraud tip program. He told one to be careful, then looked at another and said, “What’s wrong with you? Are you a sick person?” He added that he thought something was wrong with the reporter. The clips spread fast on X.     This is how Trump has handled the press for years. When reporters shout, interrupt, or push loaded questions, he pushes back hard. Here are some of the clearer moments, with the X posts that still carry the video.

    • “You are a sick person” — Oval Office, October 20, 2026. Trump told Independent reporter Andrew Feinberg he better be careful, then later called him a sick person after the reporter kept going. The room was loud and people were talking at the same time.

    • “Quiet, piggy” — Air Force One, November 14, 2025. Bloomberg’s Catherine Lucey asked a follow-up about the Epstein files. Trump cut her off, pointed, and said “Quiet. Quiet, piggy.” The line went everywhere.

    • “You are a rude, terrible person” — White House, November 7, 2018. CNN’s Jim Acosta kept asking about the Russia investigation. Trump told him to sit down, said CNN should be ashamed, called Acosta a rude terrible person, and said the press was the enemy of the people when it ran fake stories.

    • “You are a terrible reporter” — March 20, 2020. NBC’s Peter Alexander asked what Trump would tell scared Americans during early COVID. Trump answered that Alexander was a terrible reporter who asked a nasty question.

    • “Be quiet… you’re second rate” — Chicago question, 2026. A reporter asked if Trump was ready to “go to war” with Chicago. He called the framing fake news, told her to be quiet, said she never listens, and called her second rate while explaining he meant cleaning up crime, not war.

    • Kaitlan Collins moments. Trump has told the CNN reporter she is the worst, that she never smiles, and that CNN is corrupt. One exchange came when she asked what he would say to Epstein survivors. He answered by criticizing her tone and face.

    Trump’s style is the same each time: he treats the press like any other group that tries to talk over him or twist the question. He has called out CNN, NBC, ABC, Bloomberg, and others for years. Supporters say the reporters start it by shouting and stacking loaded questions. Critics call it an attack on the free press.

    The Tuesday Oval Office exchange is just the latest version. The older clips are still easy to find on X, and they sound a lot like the new one. Not only do they lie in print and on their fake news shows, but them acting as they do in person in the Oval office is disgusting.
