Looting, rioting, and entire buildings going up in flames. These are the scenes that have poured out of France over the weekend showing anarchy nationwide, leading to thousands of arrests.
The riots, initially attributed to discontent over the state of education and the high cost of living, come as furious students all over the world have been violently clashing with police.
On Saturday, October 17th, bedlam exploded across France when over 500,000 protesters flooded the streets, torched cars and buildings, and looted luxury businesses in about 140 simultaneous protests.
